Nha Trang University (NTU)
Nha Trang University (NTU) evolved from the Department of Fisheries which was established in 1959 at the Academy of Agriculture and Forestry. Over 60 years of development, the University has become one of the leading institutions for training and research in the field of fisheries, contributing an integral part in the socioeconomic development in the South Central regions, the Central Highlands and the whole country.
Currently, NTU is oﬀering 6 doctoral, 16 master’s, and 37 undergraduate programs. The university now has a staﬀ body of over 700 members with over 100 doctors and 300 masters, of which over 40% obtained their degrees in developed countries. The University constantly expands the scale of training, upgrades infrastructure, improves innovation programs, updates teaching and learning methods to become an applied oriented university, and ultimately a research oriented university in the future.
With a long history and proud tradition, NTU is developing cooperative partnerships with universities and research institutes in Vietnam and abroad in order to provide the best learning opportunities for our students as well as a good service for the socioeconomic development of the country.
